The Beaton Straw Hat is designed with a wide brim for generous sun protection and an easy, elevated silhouette for everyday summer wear.

Unlike a traditional hat that sits lower on the forehead, Beaton is designed to sit higher on the head and is secured with a fine millinery elastic that can be discreetly hidden within the hair, worn almost like a headband or cocktail hat base. It can also be styled slightly tilted for a more dramatic look.

The brim is reinforced with wire neatly encased in raffia straw, helping it hold its shape over time and preventing sagging or collapse while remaining comfortable and lightweight.

The detachable grosgrain ribbon straps fasten with mother of pearl buttons attached to the ribbons, looping through buttonholes hidden inside the sweatband.

Made from 100% natural straw, the Beaton Hat measures approximately 16 inches in diameter with a 2-inch crown height. One size fits most, but sizing can be customized if requested.

Because all hats are made by hand, slight variations like the coarseness and shade of the straw may occur from one hat to another, which makes them all the more unique!
